Clare Bentham – Trainer

Clare has worked in IT communication, training and education for over 20 years. During this time, she has worked on all stages of a project, from proposals and needs analyses, through to edits, testing and post-project reviews. She has produced a range of products, including user guides, help screens, training courses, eLearning products, corporate policies and procedures, bids and proposals.
As well as working as a writer, Clare works as a project manager, and is qualified as a Prince II practitioner.
Clare has degrees in English and Information Technology.
Clare believes that the key to successful writing is to understand the needs of the reader. In order to write in a way that is clear, relevant and accessible, you need to know your reader, and have their best interests at heart. This applies whether you are writing a post-it note or a proposal.
When she is not working, Clare likes to watch telly and eat chips. She is also a qualified equine massage therapist.
