The Company…

Plain Words is the UK’s foremost professional authoring and training company and the longest established. We provide technical and business-related writing services, training and staff to a wide range of industries and to the public sector.

Since starting in 1991 we have grown steadily year-by-year – and now have a wide customer base in the UK and continental Europe. Our customers come back to us time after time because they trust our commitment to a quality service.

Our success is based on selecting the best team for each project by blending excellent management skills with the key expertise of our technical authors, editors, trainers and course developers.

The Team

We currently have twelve Senior Consultants in the Managed Project Team and a recruitment database of over 2,500 experienced Documentation and Training Professionals, Project Managers, Coordinators and Localisation Experts.

Our training department combines in-house expertise with associates who have worked with Plain Words for many years. This ensures that our courses are presented by facilitators who are currently working in the area they train, so their skills are up-to-date and practical.
